I have a really stubborn, fear reactive Great Dane. I tried EVERYTHING to help train her, hours of research, different techniques, head harnesses, the... list goes on. It got to the point where I was honestly willing to re-home her (but she’s my baby and I would be heartbroken). So I figured it was time to finally spend the money to get her professionally trained. And when I tell you the major difference only 5 classes has made, worth every penny. She still has a long way to go, and a few more sessions, but I’m actually able to enjoy my dog again. The people at K9 have been incredible, very patient, and just all around this experience has changed my life for the better! Show more

We have been attending the aggression/anxiety training sessions for our reactive dog with Jake at OLK9 downtown facility and we are so impressed! Jake... is knowledgeable, patient, and focused on positive reinforcement, offering practical solutions that worked immediately. My dog, Blue, responded wonderfully, and I leave every session feeling more confident and better equipped as a pet owner. This was Bruce's 1st class. Logan was great He took his time explaining what we would be doing and how the e-collar worked. He demonstrated with Bruc...e what he wanted him to.do and then coached me and Bruce thru the same actions. This is our 3rd dog to be trained thru Off Leash K9. We love them! Show more

Only the first lesson but it gave me a huge boost in morale seeing that my Bloodhound wasn't "too old for new tricks". Brendan and Onica (not confiden...t in the spelling of that one)... were patient and thorough.....with me. To be honest...I think these classes are more about untraining me and less about training the canine.....but hey....whatever works. Show more

Tegan is an amazing trainer for Off Leash in Fredericksburg. We have learned all of the therapy dog commands needed to be efficient and successful to ...be tested and enter the therapy dog environments that we hope to visit. Tegan answered our questions, reinforced what we were doing correctly and gently corrected our bad habits or mistakes when needed. We plan to continue our relationship with Tegan as our pup and I both value our friendship. We are sad to see our training coming to a close but look forward to what possibilities lie ahead that Tegan made possible for us:) Show more

Brenden was super information and patient with both us humans and our dog! He took plenty of time to review our ecollar and how it functions, and then... took the time to demonstrate technique on how to work with our dog. We then got to give it a go ourselves, where he further helped teach us how to handle her. He gave us some homework and even his telephone number in case we have questions between classes. Honestly, I was so nervous and anxious about this appt and it couldn’t have gone any better. Exceeded all my expectations! Show more

My dog Shadow and I just finished the 8 week basic/advanced obedience training with Brenden and I can’t say enough great things about our experience! ...He was so knowledgeable, patient, caring, and helpful with Shadow.
