I enjoyed my appointment with Slaughter Styles today! I started my micro loc journey 12/30 and I needed maintenance desperately! I was a little nervou...s about going to a different loctitian but I am glad I did. Adrian taught me a lot about my hair. The arrival was on time and inviting. She didn’t rush through my hair, she took her time to correct a few concerns about my hair and give me proper care instructions for maintaining in between appointments. At the end of my appointment, my hair looked and felt amazing! Show more

Our appointment was pushed back an hour, which was fine until Adrian said she was running behind because we talked before my son’s appointment. My son... just recently started his loc journey and we had a few questions prior to her getting started. (It literally took a few minutes) Nothing was answered really. She then gets started and says she could fix his hair for additional 50 because his part was off. Then she stated she was already behind because of his hair which only took 30 mins to retwist and she didn’t have time to fix it. I do not ever leave bad reviews but seriously don’t waste your time and money here. I paid 75 bucks for this service. Very rude and unprofessional. Show more

It is very unfortunate that I cannot post my own photos on here but I will put a special spot on instagram (slaughter_styles) under my highlights so that any potential clients can know the truth through photos. I have the time stamp on my photo that was taken after his wash which say the time I started. At the wash bowl you asked me about combing out his locs but because I could not see his scalp and his coils appeared to be fine. Consultations! prior to 1st appt 🙏🏽Once I had already retwist 3/4 of your sons head is the moment that I saw the crooked part. And it was at that point You wanted me to fully comb out the front of his locs to fix the parts that a previous stylist did. which is not something that I would typically do on demand. At that point you got frustrated with me because I stated my only job was to retwist. which is what you booked for a loc retwist. Which is what I did. Yes I proceeded to tell you that I could fix the parts but for a 50 fee. Because once again it is not my job to fix parts but clean up and retwist the loc that is already there. Which is exactly what I did. It is very unfortunate that you did not like the Retwist. But I pray you be blessed and your next experience is more enjoyable. ✨
