I recently booked a hair appointment, paid my deposit as required and advised by this braider. Unfortunately, my experience with the rescheduling and ...eventual cancellation of the appointment was extremely disheartening. To begin with, my appointment was rescheduled not once, but twice. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, it was frustrating to have the appointment changed on two separate occasions. Each time, I had to rearrange my schedule and make adjustments to accommodate the new appointment time. However, what truly disappointed me was the last-minute cancellation. The stylist cited reasons such as her husband working overtime and not having a sitter, as well as her car breaking down. While I empathize with unexpected challenges, it is essential for professionals to have contingency plans in place to ensure that their clients are not left hanging. As a customer, it is disheartening to have my time and commitments disrespected. Communication and professionalism are crucial aspects of running a business, and unfortunately, my experience with this stylist did not meet those standards. First impression is everything I will never book with her again! FYI UPDATE 1/3 Just because you refunded my deposit, does not mean that this was resolved my hair was left unbraided when I had an important event to attend that weekend. Show more

The bottom line is, I wouldn’t recommend anybody booking with this hairstylist. All she does is send confirmations that you have an appointment but sh...e will cancel it without notice and she also doesn’t respond to text messages or phone calls. You can CLEARLY send her a basic text message with a simple question but will receive no response. But you know what you’ll still receive? A CLEAR CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR APPOINTMENT IS BOOKED. If the appointment is supposed to be cancelled regardless, if there’s no deposit, she should be making sure that she’s canceling the appointment as well on the app or text back. Show more
