I recently moved to Des Moines and was in need of a new barber. I searched endlessly for a place to go and ended up with a haircut I was not pleased w...ith. I messaged Jordan on instagram in hopes of him helping me get in to fix the haircut I received from a different barber. Not only did he respond within hours, he asked for pictures of my fade and even followed me back on instagram to see how I styled my hair before my appointment. Jordan got me in the NEXT day, he was completely booked, but stayed late to fix my haircut. Going to Paramount is an experience of its own. There isn’t a barber in the shop that can’t do what you want. I was lucky enough to get in with Jordan, but every barber that had a chair in his shop is worth waiting for an appointment. You won’t leave disappointed. Paramount is the place I get to call my barber shop. I couldn’t recommend another shop more. Show more

I have also gone to plenty of the barbers be brings into his shop; not always one...s ready to cut the same but sometimes ones that need some coaching first then they themselves turn into great barbers. Jordan has a "coaching tree" like Greg Poppovich now but still cutting great himself. Show more

Jordan gives an awesome haircut. There is no doubt about that. He does a wonderful job!! What's frustrating is every time we have made an appointment ...he runs almost 25-30 mins behind. I am ok with waiting and I want him to take his time with clients, but what's the point of an appointment if you continuously run that much behind?? Show more
