I am really disappointed that I even had to make this review, however due to the unprofessional behavior of Ta'Ja, I was left no choice. I booked my ...appointment in an open slot one week in advance. That would give any stylist time to cancel or reschedule if possible. I get a text the morning of my appointment, stating I do not work on Mondays, the system switched my times. I can do your hair tomorrow. I replied, stating I will NOT have time tomorrow, so she said that I could come at 11am because she was in class. So then at 11am she texts again saying she is tied up at the school and will not be able to do my hair. I was already in her yard at this point. So I just call her. I said hey it's no problem I just need my deposit back because I only have today that I could get my hair done. Taj then proceeds to tell me her issues at the college and then says, I haven't refunded you yet, can I call you when I'm done at the college? I said sure! This was 11 am. It's almost 4pm, no call. I text, hey I have somewhere else to be so I will just take my refund and not to worry about it. She replies and says ok, I did it through the app, and you should get it in a few days. One whole week goes by. Well over the 2-5 business days Booksy says it would take. On March 5th it shows paid to Ta'Ja. My appointment was March 2nd. I texted her on the 11th, hey I never received my refund. She proceeds I should call my bank, then later says it got stuck in the wire, but I will cash app you half your money. I paid $183.75. She sends me $92 on March 14th. Mind you, I did EVERYTHING right on my end and Ta'Ja was the one who couldn't honor my appointment. Then she has the nerve to tell me I am being "redundant" because I said it's not good business to pay for a service that has not been completed yet. In my 41 years, you never pay for ANY service until it's done. I have the right to say it as many times as I please because I am the one at a loss! The fact that you received money for something you didn't do and then try to take my kindness for weakness is diabolical. Most importantly trying to play on my intelligence saying Booksy charges, like you are the only stylist who uses this app! I hope it was worth it for you. Burning bridges is something you never do. I pray you get your life together because there are some serious issues deep down that you obviously have not resolved. Your attitude is horrible and you can not mix your personal life with business. Lying and taking people money is a sure way to ruin your future in this industry. Just bad karma period! Response: The fact that I have known you since 2018 makes this worse. I can only imagine how you would treat a stranger. Maybe you thought you could try me, since you knew me??? Just like I thought I could trust you! I was sadly mistaking you for an honest, decent human being. I just had to warn others! 🚫 Response #2 First off, you should learn the meaning of defamation. I did not say anything fraudulent about you or your services. You are the one that lied. Secondly, your "policies" are to protect YOU from clients that abuse the system. People who are no-shows or cancel at the last minute. It is to make sure the client keeps their end of the appointment. It's really sad that you think you are right. Only giving half of my money back when it was your mismanagement of days and times. The policy isn't your excuse to NOT complete services. You were a back up when I miss an appointment with my regular stylist. This was only the second time I booked you in almost a year. I hope your books stay full. It's obvious you need it. However, by you continuing to try and insult me, NOT a good look. So leave me alone or make it right, and then I will leave you "TF" alone! I NEVER agreed to half my money back. I only waited to be sure Booksy had not made a mistake and trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. You can't insult me because I did NOTHING wrong. YOU LIED! PERIOD!

Ms. Janelle, no one forced you to pay a full service. You had the option to not pay and not book!, you paid. Although my site states that there is a no refund policy under no circumstance, I tried to get you rebooked, and unfortunately, that was unable to happen. After years of doing business with you, I'm disappointed that you would then go and type this extremely long paragraph.One thing about it what's for me it's for me and what's not I will not see one monkey will not stop the SHOW! You have a blessed day!! Warn others!?Girl good bye! had you not been on the road working then it wouldn’t have been a problem to rebook! You are bitter and sad trying to defame my character when you know I have amazing service, exactly why you continue to book with me! again what’s for me won’t be stop by this review your not my God!!
