My son got his starter locs 3 days ago. The service is what you would expect. Took a little longer than we initially thought it would because he has s...o much hair. But, that was fine, I always pack my patience. What stood out for me was the knowledge. Not only did Sharnell do his hair, she walked us through the process and really made sure he was sure with every decision that was made regarding what she was doing with his hair and what to expect in the next year or so to make sure he was getting exactly what he wanted. But, of course he's not used to it yet and had some concerns today, I called with those concerns and got a call back within 10 minutes. There is a lot of information to process, and I know I ask a lot of questions, and she answered every single 1 of our concerns. He feels 100x better about his hair now and is ready to continue his loc journey. Retwist is already booked. Show more

I Started my loc Journey 1.2.2022 and I was suffering from alopecia I had a bald spot in the middle of my head and I was thinking about cutting my hai...r off. I did my consultation with sharnell as a last result and she said she could save my hair. I was so scared to try it but I went for it. Iam so happy i did. At first I thought it wasn't working but I had to trust the process and be patient 6 months later I noticed I had no bald spot anymore. I was able to look in the mirror and be proud of who I was becoming i was so happy i cried because for the first time since i was diagnosed i felt beautiful again. I am so happy I found twisted express. Sharnell is so great with my hair I won't be going to anyone else. So thankful to twisted Express for saving my hair. Show more
