I went in for a 12:30 appointment at 12:00, I did not mind waiting. Jay asked me if I wanted to get with another barber. I first said no, then he aske...d again and said yes. I should not have. I was told the guy who was going to cut my hair was really good and I was in good hands. Jay then left around 12:30 which was supposed to be to be my appointment so I am assuming he wanted me to get with the other barber so he could leave early. The barber that cut my hair messed up on my tape line. One side is angled backwards and the other one is straight down with no curve going down into the beard. The fade is not fully blended properly. I was charged $40 for what I believe should have been no more than $15 if not free. I am very disappointed with this because Jay had great reviews. This was my first time going to this barber shop since losing my last barber. I am very disappointed and frustrated with my experience. Show more

Probably the dumbest rating I've gotten especially when I didn't cut your hair. From your own words you accepted my offer to have another barber cut you. You're not even my client and rather you wait a half hour I respected your time and offered you another option being that you're a shop first timer. Not my fault he didn't deliver. I don't appreciate the rating. You're playing with my rep on the count of another barber. You're definitely not the clientele in looking to build with if this is the you handle yourself. Btw I left to spend time with family a few states away. It wasn't about leaving early, it's about my business outside of the shop. My ratings speak for themselves. Just remember I never actually cut your hair. Take that up with the barber. Not me ‼️

If you are ever in Augusta, GA and need a cut, you have to stop by and see Jay. He is the kind of barber who goes way beyond the clippers. He is talen...ted, patient, and always makes you feel comfortable the moment you sit down. What I appreciate most is how real he is. Honest, reliable, and genuinely caring. You can walk in needing a haircut, and somehow you walk out feeling lighter, with good conversation and advice you did not even know you needed. Jay is one of those people who leaves a real impact.
