Wash Lace Wig Install

I really like Fay as a person, so I'm giving her 3 stars instead of 2. But I didn't love my final look at all. It was my first time getting an install... and so much of it didn't go to my liking. Fay did an awesome job washing & braiding my hair, then layering and curling the wig for sure. I admired her work on IG for long and was hoping I'd also have a gorgeous look like the girls on her page. But it just wasn't it. The first comment she made about my wig was, "why did you get this wig?". Apparently, my wig was not ideal because it had silk attached. Fay went around this by sewing that part to my head. I also found it strange that she didn't wash my wig, but perhaps I was supposed to do that ahead of time. What bothered me the most was how low she installed my wig. The placement significantly shrank the size of my forehead to the point where I looked unrecognizable. It was very unnatural. I spoke up in the session a little too late. I didn't realize that once the wig was on, we wouldn't be able to move it. I also had a problem with all of the glue residue on my forehead. Fay kindly made herself available to me via text after the appointment and answered my questions. When I asked her about the residue, she said it would get better as the day went on, but that didn't happen. I gave it a shot and waited a few days to get used to the wig and for everything to loosen up and settle in, but honestly, it didn't get better. I just hated my look and ended up removing the wig, so it was a waste of money. The forehead shrinkage and the excessive glue residue just made it so painfully obvious that I was wearing a poorly styled wig. Show more
