Im rating 5 stars and I will share my honest experience, but I do not want to hurt this business' ratings based on personal preference. BUT i hope it... sets a realistic expectation for anyone that may be a new customer. First, I changed my desired style a week before my appointment, and the stylist quickly accommodated without hesitation. I must say they live up to their name as they work fast. I landed on small bohemian knotless with HUMAN hair curls. I love the immediate appearance as i have a lot of curls which is what i like, however, I am not fully convinced its 100 percent human hair, by all means if I am wrong, I would love for the owner to correct me for accuracy and let me know but i think its a blend as its super fluffy and the curls are not relaxing at all. I burned a few strand and they turned to plastic balls. I think the description should be updated to state that as I have a feeling they will tangle and remain puffy in the coming weeks. Update, its definitely synthetic blend, not human hair. My braids are a bit thicker and shorter than what i expected for small bohemian knotless so if you know, when braids are shorter and thicker, its harder to put them up into that updo we like to wear when ur braids are a little older. Next, there was no conversation about length or "is this long enough small enough etc." I think they have a set agenda and roll with it, which probably contributes to the fast turnaround times, I can't knock that. Fyi currently, it is in a home setting. A couple of things I think are very important. It was extremely warm in the room, almost as if the AC was not on. When performing services that take a few hours, you may want to keep the room at a comfortable temperature for patrons. Lastly, a mother bought her teenage daughter in while I was there during the latter part of my appointment. The shows on the tv were not appropriate for younger viewing. The mother and daughter were eyeing each other in what seemed like embarrassment. All in all, my hair is neat and pretty, just shorter than I expected, and my husband seems to like it. I just prefer 100 percent human hair curls, oh, and the middle part, not my thing, but no one asked where I wanted my part. I like to flip my hair to the side. I would encourage a little more communication to ensure the client is getting exactly what they want and paid for. The little things mean alot. Show more
