Hi Nancy, I want to sincerely apologize for today’s missed appointment and for the frustration and disappointment this caused. I have been unexpectedly ill since last Monday and have largely been out of the office while recovering. However, being sick is not an excuse for the lack of communication and follow-through you experienced. As the leader of the firm, I take full responsibility for this. I should have personally reviewed my schedule for the evening and ensured proper follow-up took place, and I did not do that. That accountability falls on me. After reading your review, I personally called and left a voicemail to apologize because I never want someone to feel ignored or dismissed, especially after trusting us with their time. We pride ourselves on being responsive, professional, and respectful of people’s time, and in this situation we fell short of the standard we hold ourselves to. Reading your review was difficult because your frustration is completely understandable. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we will use this as an opportunity to improve our internal communication and scheduling processes moving forward.
