Individual crochet locs/Softlocs

It’s so important to connect with your providers in advance to see if you align. I knew she specialized in locs and have seen her work in the past. Sh...e has them as well and so you can get a feel of her work just by looking at her hair which is always gorgeous. I was getting faux locs for the first time and was completely foreign to the process. Not only were my questions answered but my needs were addressed. Communication was fluid and I never felt like my questions were a bother. I arrived and was seen almost right away. There was a client finishing up and his locs looked great. My hair was washed and blow dried and protected with a custom oil that is also available for purchase. That oil is life! My skin is very sensitive and I could tell the oil was serving as a barrier to keep my hair moisturized and my scalp protected as edge control was applied to the sections. Usually my scalp respond right away and I could even feel the edge control irritating my skin. The location was great. I’m not a huge fan of busy salons and this was intimate, calm and peaceful. A great playlist was on in the background which left room for talking when we wanted but also for silence when I wanted to read my book. The salon is really beautifully designed. If you’re looking for natural styles especially locs, I highly recommend making an appointment. Your hair will be cared for. Show more

She was on time to my appointment and she gave me a big chop. She even left enough to where it could be braided so I was very thankful for that. The o...nly thing I did not really like is she’s very heavy handed. My scalp felt like it was burning, so if your tender headed like me I wouldn’t really recommend. When I tell you the service that was provided was the best, I mean that! From the time I walked in, to the time I left I had the best experience. When... she washed my hair she asked questions like is the water too cold/hot? Does it itch anywhere? Are you comfortable? Something you don’t see in many salons. I need my hair styled in a particular way for a wedding. My usual stylist was out of town and so I need to find a beautician that was very well versed... in natural hair care. I do not like to use heat in my hair because with prior experience it caused heat damage in particular sections of my hair. I contacted Lanisha via IG. She was very professional and assured me she could do the style while maintaining my natural hair texture once I washed the style out. I was hesitant but had faith in her due to my short but good report i built with her. Long story short she not only did a FABULOUS job on my hair for the wedding my natural texture had not heat damage from the blow drying method she used!!! She amazing!! She will definitely be my go to stylist when my usual beautician is out of town. Thank for for a job well done!!!!! Highly recommend her!!! Show more
