Goddess Half & Half/ Tribal Braids

My 2nd time going to Shietta came an hour away and she never disappoints! I booked the Half boho/ Half tribal braids if you want the same. The cornrow...s are so clean and the style compliments my face. The braids were a good length and the braids weren’t too thin are thick, good fullness. Wash was included! And I was able to have my hair detangled and get a trim too for an add on. It’s nice to have a hairstylist that actually does hair unlike others who want your hair to be prepped already. It’s nice for times when my hair becomes overwhelming and I can book with Shietta and she’ll get me right from whatever I’m working with. Definitely worth the value! Also she is so friendly and comfortable to be in the salon with. She’s great to talk to and if the appointment is long just bring a show to watch or a book and the silence is comfortable as well <3 Thank you luv. My hair depression is gone!!🥹😆 Show more

Temporary Color Deep condition Small box braids

I did a box braid and to be honest, I am not happy with it. Firstly, I booked for a treatment and temp color, but the color didn’t make a difference.... I should have done it myself. She didn’t take the time to even wipe the stains from my hairline; I did it myself when I got home. Then she was very kind to respond positively to my request of braiding my hair, but unfortunately, the ends of the braids are tacky looking and i am ashamed to walk around with this. The treatment was just a leave-in conditioner, then a blow out. Besides being slow, the Tv was Just distracting and the fact that she made comments about running out of patience for her own clients was not pleasing and made me very uncomfortable. I just think if you don’t like people don’t be around them and if you want to run a business you need to have patience. I spent about $400 to do my hair with Shietta and I am upset with the service and the end product. I’ll give myself 2 weeks before I take them out. What a waste of money and time. Show more

Hello Natasha ! For starters, if you were unsatisfied with your ends, you could've told me & I would have suggested we wave them instead. I asked you if you wanted them waved, you said no. You also got SHORT box braids. Short is an awkward length for regular box braids, because the ends will be skinnier than the rest of the hair, being that it's prestretched. You also wanted no part in the front, which is impossible if you want box braids. I also forgot that you had booked the "treatment", therefore we didn't do it. But you simply could've either reminded me as I was washing your hair, or AFTER the service, that way I could take the price off, because that was my fault. & as far as my patience for braiding, that had/has nothing to do w/ you, my clients or my professionalism. I have ADHD. Not to mention, box braids take hours, as you obviously know. That is a full work day. I chose to be a hairstylist for many reasons, one being I make my own schedule. I got a stain remover & didn't bring it. Nothing was wrong with your ends. You just didn't like them because it was short. Get waves next time or longer braids. Your ends look how they did the first time I did your hair. & I would've turned the TV off if I had my speaker. I wanted the TV off because you kept moving to look at it, because you found it entertaining. You had none of these complaints in my chair, you only mentioned that you didn't want parts in the front. What you wanted was unrealistic. But I always accommodate.
