I dont even know where to start with this review. My daughters sweet 16 birthday was ruined because of the emotions she had after her hair was done by... this shop. To start, they advertise sew-in closure in which one would think they know how to place a closure. I understand bleaching & plucking would not take place due to the cost of service, but I did expect for her closure to be added properly. She left the shop exactly how the photos are shown. I had to crop it because my baby was crying on the photos. I called the shop with my concerns as her dad picked her up, so I only saw photos. They did try to rectify things by asking her to come back to the shop to fix it, but I had a few concerns...1. We did not have time for her to return, 2. We did not live close to the shop, 3. If this is how she left, why would I waste time for them to continue to experiment in her hair? I asked for a refund (not even a full one) and they said they had to call me back and let me know. After calling me back, they asked for my Zelle info to refund me. The total for services were $120+$10 tip=$130. Welp, they only refunded me $40 for this work. Unbelievable! It's safe to say I will never return here. I understand they are a braid shop, but do not advertise for services you cannot perform. I would never let someone leave a shop like this. I will say they did hear my concerns and was not dismissive, so I do appreciate that, but my daughter was so hurt as her birthday was the next day. Show more

I have been bringing my daughters to this salon and not only are my girls please but I am as well! The stylists are professional, kind, patient and ge...ntle. The quality of braiding is fantastic and it is done so fast! It took only 2 hours for my girls to get box braids/knotless braids. As a mom of 3 girls, this is such relief and I drive 50 minutes for this service. Show more

Update: THEY LIE TOO, YA'LL!!! I added a picture of my visit receipt. I came to your salon 10/12. Please... don't make yourself look more unprofession...al than you already are. In a week, they shouldn't look like this, right! 220 wasted! You called once... and im not allowing you all to fix what has to be re-done. If it "so old" why would you offer to fix it?! Update: 5 braids have slid out of the back of my head in a week. I sent pictures as proof and requested a partial refund because I dont trust anyone there to fix anything. Their response was just as I expected. I was ready to accept the bad braiding job, but when the braids started falling out, I could not and WILL not stay silent. I made my apppt with Annette, but to my surprise when i arrived, two other women did my hair. The experience was fine, but when i booked, the cost was 200. As im paying, one of the women who was braiding me tells me it should be $220. Which is fine, but updating the booking site is imperative. Also, see the attached picture.... it hasn't evn been a week, and my natural hair is unraveling from the braid?! I won't not be back. Show more

You never called us about anything, as of braids by Annette we always try to do our best to make sure our clients are happy , we don’t give money back but we fix it , we try to call you so many times and you never pick up, but trying to get money back those pictures are old pictures less than a week box braids don’t look like that .
