After spending years driving to the west side to get my hair done, I decided to try this salon down the street from my home. And I wish I did it a lot... sooner! This salon is AWESOME. Idma is the best hair dresser I've ever had (and I'm 50 years old, so there have been many!), the place is spacious and beautiful, and I've started using the products they sell. I scheduled an appointment over email with Aaron. I drove to my appointment and the entire salon was closed. No one there, locked, lights out. I left ...a voicemail and followed up with email asking if there had been some confusion with my appointment time, and asked to be rescheduled. No response. Totally fine if there was a scheduling mistake, but no one has returned my calls/emails for over a week. Liberated salon down the street does a great job and respects their clients time. Recommend going there instead. Show more

I found my go to salon and stylist! I finally decided to go to a real salon and get more than just a normal trim (although from now on I will be goin...g here for my regular old trims too!). I have long wavy hair and wanted a little change! I wanted to see more waves in my natural hair but wanted to keep it long and also was considering switching from a side part to a middle part! Julie was amazing and listened to everything I wanted. We agreed on long layers and short pieces in the front to frame my face! She knew I wanted to keep it long so just took off the dead ends and checked with me after she cut some off the front to see if I wanted to go a little shorter! She also knew I was a little hesitant about the layers so she made sure to keep them long and not go too drastic! She also blew it out and curled it to style it after the cut! The price was super affordable too! Way cheaper than any of the other dozen of salons I looked at but a great haircut and amazing experience! I will be going here from now on! Thanks Julie! Show more
Breeze did a phenomenal job on my color, especially given the circumstance. I was bleached blonde (which left my hair severely damaged and ruined ...my curl pattern) and my roots were beyond grown out due to my indecisiveness over going back to my natural color which is a dark brunette or continuing the bleaching. I went to several consultations at other salons and the work they said it would involve seemed overly complicated in order to up-sell and charge an astronomical fee. Finally went to This or Die and consulted with Breeze. She shot down my unrealistic IG hair goddess expectations...LOL (Ladies you know we all have them). Given the damaged condition of my hair , how bleached it was, and how dark my natural color is, she walked me though a hair cost/benefit analysis of bleached blonde vs natural brunette. She concisely explained my (realistic) options, the most practical route to get me to a preferable healthy brunette, and gave me a much more fair price. I appreciated her candor. It's hard to find a stylist who's more concerned about the health of your hair, what your hair can realistically achieve, and what will complement you, then trying to make more money by adding on unnecessary services that would further damage your hair. She matched and restored my brunette color and my hair looks and feels so much more shinny and healthy! Thank you Breeze!!! Show more

Came here yesterday for a balayage service. I had a ton of box die in my hair and I went in with the expectation that I had to do a few sessions to go... lighter but Breeze is extremely talented and I left that salon happy. We also had great conversation. Needless to say I will be back! Show more
