I asked her to stop in the middle of it because I didn’t like the way they looked and also the fact that she was only like 30% of the way done after 2... 1/2 hours. It would’ve taken 5+ hours to do a classic set. Yes I know she’s a beginner, but if it takes five hours to do a classic set maybe she should practice on mannequins more. I think it took super long because she kept putting on lashes then taking them off because I could feel her plucking it and it was not pleasant. Before she asked me if I wanted my lashes to be long, short, or “in between.” I said “in between” and I didn’t want them too long. They ended up being too long for my liking and she was upset because I said “in between,” but how was I supposed to know what “in between” was? She didn’t give me an exact millimeter length and I even gave her a picture of what length and style I wanted. When she removed all of the lashes instead of finishing it per my request, it hurt and I know it’s not supposed to hurt removing them. I feel bad leaving this review but I feel like it will be a good learning lesson. I understand that I signed up to be serviced by a beginner but there was no way I could’ve anticipated this low of quality of service. Show more

Hello, I was half way done when you asked to use the restroom and I maybe removed a couple as I went on but that is not what took me long, I am still in my beginning phase and when booking, it says a time listed and then says it can take me longer depending on your lashes.. (you had layers of lashes) I do practice on my mannequin at least every other day but the mannequin does not have near as many lashes as a human does & I am taking clients so that I can get the real experience so that I can get to the point where I am faster as I go and anyone that doesn't understand that does not need to book with me which is totally fine. This is why I make sure clients read everything thoroughly before coming to the appointment. Yes, you told me you wanted the lashes in between and you showed me a photo of what you wanted and I went by what I did for that client which is what you asked for. When you looked at them you said they were too long, I was not upset. I was only trying to work with you to make some changes. I was also gentle as can be when removing them before using the remover, there may have been a tug here and there but even I ,myself experienced that with techs with years of experience. I apologize that you were not pleased with how long it was taking but I appreciate your feedback anyway as I am always looking for ways to improve and there is nothing wrong with that! (That’s not the problem) but she a...lso takes time to educate you about the current health of your lashes and what would be the best option according to the HEALTH of your lashes.
