***I cannot post my full review on Booksy. See the full review and the rest of my screenshots on Wink Works google review section (You may have to fil...ter to see the lowest ratings.) There are 21 screenshots in total of the situation, but I cannot post everything here due to the photo and character limit. If anything else ever happens, I will add on to that review on Google. I LOVED going here, but had to find a new lash tech because of the owner’s petty attitude with my concerns. I was given a new medusa set in which I had sent a reference photo prior to attending my appt on April 8th. Nhi said she could do them. After the appt., I clearly not happy with my lashes but informed her that I liked them due to the fact that I $207.89 for ($15 removal, $160 new set, $35 bottom lashes)—telling Nhi I didn’t like the set wouldn’t have have made any difference in the moment because it was already on me, I would’ve had to pay more to start over, and she had another client that came in while I was there towards the end while I waited for my ride. I’d also like to mention that she did not make me aware of needing to pay an additional $35 for my bottom lashes prior to agreeing to do my lashes even though she knew I wanted the bottom ones done as well; I’m pretty sure this was an unnecessary additional expense because I have never had to pay more in addition to my new sets before (and I’ve always gotten my bottom lashes done with her). I texted her about my unsatisfactory feelings about the set since it didn't resemble the reference photo at all and let her know I wanted them removed and redone. I expressed what I wanted to be done to my new set and everything seemed fine until out of the blue Nhi says she can’t do them at all because she apparently “did not have the brand that she previously used on my other set.” Despite this, I was okay with it and she let me know that I would have to book a custom lash set and choose one of the photos from her Booksy for her to do on me. I couldn’t find anything I liked so I looked at what other listings she had available & was interested in an anime set so I sent over a reference photo, but was told she basically can’t do anything for me since an anime set is the same as medusa/douyin (presuming in terms of what brands she uses because they are indeed different styles). Also, I had went ahead and booked her for the anime set since I knew it was not a medusa set, which she said she couldn’t do. She proceeded to cancel the appt., and blocked me from being able to book her at all again per the “booking unavailable” error that shows any time I tried to click her shop on Booksy versus the all-clear I got when browsing as a guest on her shop on Safari. Why would she block me when she’s the one who did not do her part as a business-owner to reconcile with the client?? We’ve only ever spoken outside of her shop through text and I’ve always been patient and understanding despite her blatant ignorance toward the situation. I was NOT given a full or partial refund, discount towards my next refill/set, nor so much as an apology for wasting my time and $228.89 (i still tipped her $20, as i always have, for the last set she did despite the situation because i still appreciated the time she took to do a service for me.).
