Sorry to hear about the braids, your the first person whose braids got loose and I’ve had clients with shorter and lasted them for weeks and still removed them with the proper care, when they first arrived they were greeted if they had an appointment but didn’t say who their barber was and there was more than one barber that had new client at the same time, they proceeded with the other barber and just showed him a pic and were still asked if that’s how they wanted the haircut and proceeded, when they had started with one side of the haircut it when the kid mention it was braids he wanted. Immediate me and the other barber changed clients, for which I mentioned that I would have to finish the haircut but will be charged extra for the cut which they agreed I only charged a slight amount compare to what normally charge for braids and haircut together. From what I recall they where keeping vibrant communication with you about what was happening and since the moment they started counting the hair you had every right to denied continuing the services. We are a small business and appreciate helping, but we are also independently contracted, each barber has its own booking service and not as whole workshop.
