I felt like the stylist was crass, confrontational, opinionated and judgmentalher skill set wasn’t shown. When first booking I sent a style of what I... wanted (colored dye) and I had told her I wanted and she said she didn’t have time to do that in the slot I picked and would need to pick something else or reschedule. I picked something else. It was 3 colors. Green roots only and a split dye of pink and purple. I then thought about upkeep and decided to change it to just pink and green. Only pink roots and a swampy lime green color. She responded rudely and annoyed both times. I come to my appointment and she says I can sit down. She doesn’t say anything to me or make any small talk for at least 45 minutes. When I first get there I notice the green wasn’t the green I had wanted. I mentioned that the green wasn’t what I wanted and she responded as “I got the green you picked” she dyes my hair and it’s so disgusting. I tell her to stop after she dies almost half the hair because I see it the mirror. She rinses it out and it’s the most grass looking green ever. She then decided to add blue to the dye to attempt teal. It comes out Christmas green. Even darker. She then strips it and surprisingly it came out exactly how I wanted. The tops of the locs had different colors (blue and purple) it was not just green and pink. So she attempts to do the other side and finally adds some yellow to the green like I had recommended she did in the first place. She also offers to use some purple and so did her coworker. I didn’t see the vision yet. She ends up using the green/yellow mixture. It’s too light. She adds green to her hands and rubs it is. Parts of my locs start turning orange, brown, purple. She rinses it out and the greens don’t match. One side is clearly green but the other side is a yellow greenish with mixed dye splotches of brown, purple, orange, yellow. I see that the pink isn’t just on the scalp it’s also on some of the base of the locs and even some have it all the way to the end. She does my retwist and my parts are messed up. My center part goes a a diagonal. I tell her I need a discount for my services I wasn’t happy and I mentioned multiple times during the process I wasn’t happy and I even started crying. My total was $210. Before she dyed my hair we agreed that I would have time to also book. A style. So she says I could have the style for frees which was cool. Until I saw the part and I was like I don’t even want the style. I just want a discount. I ask her how much she would be willing to discount. She say’s for me to picks I said $160 - she said call the cops. So I called the cops. She then called the cops and stood by the door. I said I wasn’t paying the $210 because my hair isn’t worth that. I finally try to de-escalate because clearly she isn’t going to do that or even make a counter offer. So I say $180 and that she can request it on Apple Pay from me. She argued for a bit saying to just send it to her but I wanted proof that she agreed to the discount. She then sent the request.So I sent her the $180. When I got home I sent her another $10 because I didn’t want her to think I was taking advantage of her. I just don’t think the work was good and the customer service was diabolical. Craziest experience. I wouldn’t recommend her you want a complex dye jobs solid colors or split dye and just basic colors yeah if you anything “different” no. She has basic skills even though she is in college. I just don’t understand her personality’s so so so rude. Show more
