    • Brazilian Wax - Woman

      Believe it or not, we see it quite often: clients coming in for their waxing with hair that is TOO SHORT! Did you know the length of your hairs is the key component to a flawless wax? Here are a few quick ways to check and see if your hair is ready for removal: Hair should be about 1/2 – 3/4 inch long. A good way to test this is to see if your hair covers at least half to three-quarters of your pinky finger nail. Hair should be the length of a grain of rice If you can grab it, we can wax it If you trim or shave, let hair grow approximately 3 weeks before getting waxed. Three weeks of growth is usually the minimum amount of time needed for the proper length of hair. We know you might be thinking- “UGH! That’s so long!”, but trust us, growing it out the FIRST time is definitely the worst. It gets better as you wax! Please do NOT shave or trim the hair prior to your waxing, even if you feel it is too long. If the hair is shaved/trimmed too short, the wax will not be able to grab onto the hair and you will not be able to get waxed. Although this re-growth MAY look long enough to wax, it is best to let it grow about twice this length. If the hair is too short, the wax will not be able to grab onto it, resulting in left-over little hairs. That’s not a smooth wax! Patience is a virtue when it comes to hair removal…but we promise the wax is worth the wait!! And in the end, you will thank yourself…and us 😉 ​

      **What Is RF Skin Tightening? ** Radiofrequency (RF) energy is an effective technology for non-surgical smoothing and tightening of the skin. ​RF can also be used in conjunction with ultrasound cavitation to aid in further fat breakdown, and tightening of the treated area. How Does It Work? The hand piece is slowly rotated over the target area. This transmits radio frequency waves through the upper layers of the skin to the dermis. ​This heats the dermis to between 40 & 50°c without burning the skins surface, causing the body to believe there is an injury, which sends a signal to the brain telling it to produce more collagen in the treated area to repair and regenerate tissues. Heat created by RF causes collagen fibers in the area to shrink causing an immediate skin tightening effect. Full results may take from 2-4 months to be fully achieved. ​The collagen produced dramatically improves the appearance of scars, acne, stretch marks, cellulite, dark skin spots and more.       Ultrasonic for Cellulite Ultrasonic cavitation is one of the latest non-surgical methods of lipid cellular reduction. I’ve come here often, however my experience today was not great. The person I normally see was out and the tech that serviced me was not the best. The...re was issues with the wax, she was unable to pull it off initially. Her gloves got stuck in the wax creating unnecessary pain as she tried to pull them away. Over the last several months I’ve been handed to different techs which has been a little irritating as I booked with a certain tech. I understand staffing has been a concern impacting availability however each visit is worst than the last. Show more

I was a 1st time customer at this shop. It was beautiful, clean, and the staff was extremely kind. Bre was very sweet, thorough, and she gave me great... at-home care tips. However, I’m hesitant to book again. I think there were a couple of factors on my end that may have contributed to the experience, but this was the most painful waxing job I’ve had thus far. At times, it seemed as though she was in a hurry to get through the session. On the Brazilian, some of her waxing sections seemed a little large. For the most part, I am satisfied with my results, but I would definitely advise Bre to take her time. Show more

Typically, Brazilian and underarm waxing takes approximately 30 minutes. However, an extra ten minutes was added to your first visit because of the volume of hair growth. But if 40 minutes feels rushed, give us a call to specialize the duration of time for your comfort. It is recommended you wax every 4-6 weeks. If your first visit removed your hair thoroughly, the volume of hair will be less, and less painful in 4-6 weeks.
