The young man that cut my hair was patient, professional and a bit of a over thinker which led to me adjusting my expectations of my haircut, and adju...sting the haircut completely to give him an “easier” style to cut. He did a great job, but the store owner became rude with me because the young barber was spending too much time cutting my hair. I also paid extra for them getting my haircut correct. Overall: These are skilled barbers, all of them, but the store owner lacks patience for problem solving. Show more

If I could, I would give Springs barbershop NEGATIVE 5 stars! I thought the negative 5 stars should only go to KB, the person who BUTCHERED my son's ...hair, but decided it goes to the owner of the barbershop too. This is because he has KB employed there. I scheduled my son for a low fade, and my son showed KB a picture of what he wanted. First, KB hardly spoke English but emphatically said yes when I asked him if he understood what my son wanted. At that point my son and I should have turned around and walked out but didn't because I don't judge a person's abilities on how they speak, what they look like, if they have disabilities, etc. However, in this situation I should have followed my instinct. Secondly, he kept his heavily tinted glasses on the entire time he was cutting my son's hair. Lastly, he was more worried about what music he had playing and multiple times STOPPED cutting my son's hair to get on his cell phone to search for the next song he wanted to listen too. Again, I should have gotten my son out of KB's barber chair from hell and left. Before I knew it he had used hair clippers and shaved off a column of hair all the way down to my son's scalp. I was ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED! I tried not to show it on my face because my son was looking straight at me. All I could do was smile while crying inside and asking myself what have I subjected my son to. My son wanted just go to Great Clips, but I wanted him to have a real barber cut his hair this time. Great Clips would have done 100% better with what my son wanted. What a HUGE MISTAKE it was going to Springs barbershop and encountering the HORRIFIC, UNTALENTED hair cut given by KB. He didn't ask my son during the whole time cutting his hair if the length was okay, if my son was seeing what he wanted, or asking to see the picture my son initially showed him. I'm not a barber, and I even knew it DEFINITELY WAS NOT WHAT MY SON WANTED!! I feel KB knew he messed up my son's hair cut because he airbrushed on both sides, near my son's temples, a brown coloring and then outlined the edges of the front of my son's haircut in white coloring. Why??? I've never not paid or tipped for services, and I didn't start with this service but regret it now. We got in the car and my son started crying horribly. Note, my son is 14yrs old and is not a crier. He cried all the way home, hid in his room most of the night while having more bouts of crying, and is worried about returning to school with his hair like it is. He begged me to fix it, but I can't think of a way to fix it. There is not enough hair to do anything. The only 2 choices that can fix this for my son is shave off all of his hair, or wait until it grows out and go to a real barber to then get it fixed. Regardless my son will have to suffer all the teasing, questions about what happened, embarrassmentn etc. he'll endure from his peers in high school. KB, you made what was supposed to be a positive barbershop experience for my son a complete nightmare, you caused my son to cry harder than he's cried before, but most of all you made him distrust having haircuts done at a barbershop. I highly suggest you no longer cut hair, or complete A LOT of schooling and training before you take another client's hair in your hands. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND KB or SPRINGS BARBERSHOP for your hair cutting needs!! Show more
