I have been casually "window shopping" at Dandy for some years as I am a blue collar schlub & the briefcase of cash is always just an arms length away...... however I have finally made the decision to treat myself to a custom made suit & Dandy is literally the only place in the country that I would give my money to. Nelson, the proprietor, is extremely courteous, kind, & knowledgeable about design, fabrics, buttons, & just style period. Walking into his clothier is like walking on to a movie set in the best way - it's in an unassuming storefront in the historic Corktown neighborhood in Detroit & nothing is out of place - including the barber that operates out of there most days. I cannot say enough great things about Dandy - I think it is an oasis & any man that wants to treat himself to quality, custom made clothing should bring their business here.
