I’m am so thankful to have found Deirdre. I wish I had her when I was learning to row myself. My daughter has been struggling with plantar fasciiti...s and Deirdre was able to watch her move and row to try and determine the root cause of her issues. She gave us a number of areas to focus on to help build strength and avoid the root cause. She was also brilliant at looking at her technique and gave her simple tips to engage her whole body properly to avoid any other injuries and more effectively leverage her power. If you can get time with her it is worth it!

The tele consult didn't accomplish as much as I hoped it would. I did learn that I may need to improve posture/positioning to protect my back while sq...uatting and using the C2. However, we didn't have time to explore or verify whether my concern that I have relatively weak muscle groups (hamstrings and glutes in particular) and/or am ineffective at engaging them was accurate and contributing to my ongoing back issues. I am not able to handle the same load on squats and deadlifts as my peer group (women of similar age and size) and this was attributed entirely to my positioning.
