RIGHT HAND LONG GAME FITTING

Sonny took the time to understand my swing and nuances of my game that would affect club fitting. He used both the technology and his experience to g...et me the best fit. For example, he explained that I have a lot of late wrist action, so even though my swing speed is average, I needed a shaft between regular and stiff to keep the clubface from staying 'open' at impact. Have been through both an Iron fitting and a hybrid/wood fitting (2 separate visits), and am very pleased with the results. Would highly recommend. The fitting didn't feel rushed, and the hitting bays felt private with top notch equipment. Was significantly more thorough in terms of shaft/head combinations and analysis than my fitting at another popular store in 2015. Show more

The absolute best fitting environment I've ever been in. I was fit by Mike for irons and driver, I finally got in a set of irons in the spec that we g...ot to for my game and I've never hit it better. Not to mention how willing they are to let you tinker during the fitting. Letting me try different shafts, even if they know it wouldn't be helpful to my game at all. They really let you get into the weeds with them as they are all incredibly knowledgeable about golf equipment and how different shafts, weight positions, and even grip size can help pull the levers in the golf swing to optimize your game and get you playing the best golf you can. And one of my favorite things about them is that after the fitting there is zero pressure to buy right away. It really feels like they care so much about making sure that you get fit for the best equipment for your game that makes you play your best. 100% Recommend them for everyone who plays golf, any skill level, any age, anyone! My experience getting fit with Pete at Pete’s golf was amazing. He noticed the little details and knew exactly what would help get me into a better po...sition at setup. I have to say I was a little emotional when I finally hit a club that was built to my specifications. I’ve been fit for my driver in the past and felt like other places only want to upsell you on the most expensive shaft and don’t focus on shaft length and lie angle enough. You won’t have that problem at Pete’s golf. Show more

Always a great experience being fitted properly at Pete's golf. I drive 80 miles to the shop in Mineola, and would drive 800! Woody Lashen and the e...ntire staff are all extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the fitting. I recently was there for a wedge fitting and Woody took his time in explaining what was best for me/my swing. Upgrades to the shop are amazing and it is truly a state of the art facility with tons of options in shafts, grips, etc. Beyond all the bells and whistles in the shop, I believe the level of knowledge by Woody and the staff is what makes Pete's Golf Shop stand in a class of its own amongst fitters. I'm looking forward to my driver fitting in March ! Show more
