Sonny was great - highly recommend! I live in FL and was in NY for 2 weeks. Made sure to drop in to get a check up and explore if there were better dr...iver options out there for my game. There is no fitter even close to Sonny/Pete’s. After hitting a mix of clubs/shafts, Sonny concluded my current gamer is more than good enough. I could maybe squeeze out a little more ball speed with Ping LST with slight weight adjustment vs my current G440 Max. Coolest part for me was Sonny was able to explain why I’ve been hitting low on the face for the past year - it’s been bugging me and he said it’s likely related to CG of driver, who knew! These guys are the best - stop by sooner than later.

I had heard from a lot of people how good the fittings are at Pete’s, and I had also watched several YouTube videos beforehand. Yesterday I had an iro...n fitting with Sonny, and the experience was honestly jaw-dropping. I’m a 20 handicap who tends to hook the ball too much. Sonny methodically worked through different heads and shafts, explaining everything along the way. He was extremely patient, never pushy, and clearly focused on finding what actually worked best for my swing. He even recommended that I skip the 5-iron, which showed me he cared more about performance than making a bigger sale. By the end of the fitting, I was hitting the ball straighter than I ever have, and my 7-iron was going about 10 yards farther. Sonny never promised any miracle results either. From the beginning, he was honest that swing path and quality of contact ultimately determine ball flight. I traveled about an hour and 15 minutes to get there, and it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back next month for a driver fitting.
