With the exception of the Covid Hiatus, Michael has been cutting my hair to perfection since he was right out of barber school and I would follow him ...to the ends of the earth for these reasons (and many more). His barbering abilities are second to none (not even my own). He always starts with a consultation during which he is engaged and attentive and listens to my challenges and thoughtfully comes up with a solution that is tailored to my hair type and the level of effort I am (or am not) willing to put in to styling. I could stop right there and that would be enough for me to be a loyal client but there is more, so much more. Michael is funny, kind, intelligent, informed, patient, and served our country with (I believe) more than one tour in the Middle East. He embodies the spirit of Ybor City/Channel District and he most definitely is his own person, eschewing societal constructs but not to the point where it makes people uncomfortable. He can light up a room instantly and leave behind him a wake of smiles and laughter upon exiting. You're a fool if you dont make an appointment with him immediately. Just sayin' Show more
