I’m sure Lola is a great stylist, but whoever her assistant is did a horrible job. I usually never complain about hair even when people give me a mode...rately different style than I ask for, but she “gave me a trim” without blow drying my hair and cut off nearly 3 inches of hair, then proceeded to give me a style I didn’t even ask for on top of taking 3 hours longer than anticipated to finish on my head. I told her “hey, this is not what I asked for” to which she responded “oh the length?” Lola asked for the reference pictures I showed my stylist, and she genuinely looked shocked when she saw the pictures. That was the nail in the coffin for me. Show more

Pros: Very very kind hair stylist. She bought the hair the day before for me for $30 which was very convenient and appreciated. The actual braiding se...rvice took 5 hours which was the time advertised Cons: However the service was scheduled to start at 9AM, and was changed to 10AM. Then getting set up, separating the bundles, parting my hair, etc. we didn't get started braiding until close to 11:30AM. I left at 4:30PM. At the end of the day the parting is a bit uneven and there is a lot of product in my hair I'm a bit nervous it will flake. The price point of $300 is also high. Overall I'm not unhappy, but I think I'll go up to Harlem where I could get the same or better result for $200 Show more
