I struggled with sending in a review , however I was super excited to book with this stylist after years of doing my own hair and I left unsatisfied. ...My wash/dry and braid down was the best part of my service (thanks Mom). The rest of my service was just okay literally nothing special as a new client I was really looking for that connection and too walk out of there feeling good , but I didn’t I couldn’t help but feel like I wasted his time on my measly little closure sew in. I’m sorry you had that experience. This is one time again that I should have went with my gut and refused the service. You brought me hair and what you called a closure that was not a closure I made you aware of it before the install and during and after. The closure had tracks on the closure it honestly was unacceptable. I’m not sure what your expectations was with what you brought me. Next time you should consult with the stylist before purchasing anything when you've never had the service before. And if you was looking for more conversation, again I’m sorry. If you look at my work you can clearly see and check my reviews you can see I’m well experienced with my craft and take it super serious.

Overall, this was a satisfactory experience and I’m pleased with my hair results. I opted to rate 4 out of 5 stars due to two reasons. As a first-ti...me customer I was expecting more interpersonal communication with the stylist. Or perhaps with me being older, I’m just used to an old-school stylist treatment with more customer engagement. One other suggestion I would make is to invest in a coat rack for customers, when paying top dollar for quality services, this is a simple consideration to make available to customers. Again, I want to emphasize Michael did a great job with the weave installation and styling. I plan to return for weave maintenance as needed. Show more

I’m my defense. I was taking my time because she expressed how disappointed she was with the last person that did her hair. The hair she brought was very poor in quality as you can see in the photo. In cases like this you should consult with the stylist to get the proper service. This is not even a style in my portfolio. She asked for this showed me some videos and I did what I could with what was provided paying close attention not to under deliver
