It was my first Hydrafacial ever and honestly I was under impressed with my skin afterwards. I realize it will take a number of treatments to see a no...ticeable difference so I won’t be too critical at this point. My skin was red for about 8 hours but the facial was surely good for my skin. My biggest dissatisfaction was the general experience. Jen talks loudly and has music playing (not mellow) at the same time. It was overstimulating to me, however she did warn me at the very beginning that this is not a spa experience. It is a medical procedure. My initial appointment with her was cancelled one hour prior to it and we rescheduled for the next day. When I arrived she explained that she has a full time job in medical sales that sometimes has unpredictable things come up so her clients need to understand that she may cancel them due to her other job. If you cancel less than 24 hours before you will be charged $90. I am a 68 year old woman and when she advised me that moisturizer is not good for my skin because it inhibits my skin’s natural ability to moisturize itself, red flags went flying through my mind. That just doesn’t make sense to me at my age but she also doesn’t sell a moisturizer. She does not push her products on you, as I had asked her what products she does sell. Her “know it all” attitude was a personal turn off for me but I have no doubt that she is knowledgeable in her field. It was just not a good fit for me.
