I've been in therapy off and on since I was 19 - almost 30 years. I've had 5 other therapists, some better than others. Dr. Kimberly blows them all aw...ay. I feel heard and supported. Her feedback is level-headed and helpful. She makes sense. And I also know that she's not afraid to tell me something that I need to hear, even if I don't want to hear it. The combination of traditional talk therapy + Internal Family Systems + EMDR is more effective than anything I've tried. After 30 years together, I am going through a surprise divorce! I truly wasn’t sure how long it would take to bring my emotional state back to the et...ernally positive and happy one I knew prior to learning of his massive betrayal (with someone I *thought* was my “best friend” for more than two decades!). Kim is a miracle worker—it’s been mere weeks, and I am amazed at how quickly/easily she was able to help me reset my frame of mind…I’m now the new (and improved) me! Prior to meeting Kim, I’d “tested” a few other counselors (one sat us 15’ apart!)…do not waste your time, money or emotional energy on trying others - START with Kim, and I promise you’ll grow more than you’d ever thought possible. Kim’s warm and friendly and easy to talk with (my TEEN son, who’d been resisting, finally saw her today, and he, too, came out smiling!). I am writing this review as a thank you to Kim (I very rarely write reviews!). I can honestly say I’m truly not sure what state I’d find myself in today (literally a month out from the big surprise) but the kids and I are all truly in the hands of an angel in Kim and promise you’ll feel the same after meeting Kim! I was being treated by Kim for an illness that occurred from a long time abuse. Kim told me the outcome of an investigation from abuse. It’s a serious... investigation and not sure why she wants to get involved because it had ruined my career and she knows it. But opinions don’t matter in the court room. Show more
