I have been looking for a Houston loctician since relocating. After trying five different stylists, I am happy I stumbled upon Reyna and her assistant... Jasmine! SALON Easy to find. Plenty of available parking. It is in the same strip lot as Conservatory Galleria. HER SUITE Vibes on vibes. Very relaxing. I appreciate that Reyna books one client at a time. So it’s just the client, Reyna and Jasmine for the entire duration of your appointment. Candles burning, snacks and cold drinks galore including mimosas. A TV that has options for movie and streaming series buffs. She offers complimentary wifi. The suite is clean and she disinfects between each client. I even noticed Jasmine cleaning the shampoo area and tidying the floors after I left the shampoo bowl area and went to Reyna’s chair. SHAMPOO It is a luxury experience. I received a scalp massage and was just super relaxed. The shampooing was very gentle. STYLING Reyna has a gentle hand. I was very pleased with and she checked in with me multiple times if I was doing OK and if any areas were too tight. I appreciated that! I allowed her to freestyle on my head and she executed a nice style that was professional but still gave that creative flair that I look forward to when getting retwisted. She also was very neat with parting, even with centering the style stop my head and also I love how she tied the ends of my rope twists. NEW CLIENT PACKAGE It is required for all new clients or those who have not been styled by Reyna over a year. It is WORTH it and it comes with a nice goodie bag that includes her oil and her hair mist. I appreciate that she educated me on my hair health and how to tweak some things to my hair regimen to introduce moisture to my hair. I appreciated the hair evaluation prior to starting on my hair. She is very thorough and detailed. MARKETING Instagram was how I found Reyna. I am so happy I was paying attention to the recommended advertisement and saw from her name that she was in Houston which is how I ventured to her page. She really takes pride in her work. I noticed the professional camera and lighting she has which explains the high quality pictures.
