I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Lisa Keating Photography! From start to finish, Lisa provided calming support and g...uidance to this relative "newbie" attempting to dip a toe back into the business after taking a long break. So much has changed since I last updated my headshots and Lisa patiently answered all my questions and even answered some I didn't know I had! For the shoot, Lisa and her team - Arabella, the wonderful make-up artist and Star, her "therapy" pup - made it so relaxed and comfortable. Their vibe was friendly and easy-going. Once the photos were ready, Lisa again provided support and guidance in helping me narrow down the incredible amount of photos she took to a smaller selection to choose from...and the choice is still difficult! Lisa Keating is seriously the best! She’s an amazing photographer and person and takes her job seriously. She’s so kind and considerate and will give ...you plenty of looks. Lisa Keating is truly a wonderful person and you’re lucky if you get to work with her, she will help you get shots that can change your career for the better. Her makeup artist, Cora, is a wonderful person as well and is amazing at doing makeup. They are a great team and take every detail into account when they are taking your photo. I had a touch up from Cora after each look I had and she made sure my makeup was always on point! These women are both so amazing and kind and you’re lucky if you get the pleasure of seeing them. Lisa Keating is wonderful seriously if you’re on the fence about booking an appointment, don’t be, trust me she will help you greatly. She is the best photographer in the Bay Area and if you get the pleasure of working with her then you are ridiculously lucky!!! Not to mention, Star, her adorable dog, is an amazing companion and he is so sweet. Cora is also amazing and the two women are an amazing team! They will make sure you look amazing and that everything looks as it should from the hair to your clothes. I felt lucky to be around such amazing individuals. He enjoyed the experience and the photos look wonderful. Every teen should have a chance to see themselves through Lisa's lens! Lisa, makeup artist Cora, and Lisa's rescue dog Star helped Zac to relax and be himself. We are returning clients and huge fans of Lisa Keating Photography. Lisa relocated her studio since our last visit with her in Berkeley. The drivin...g directions to the new Oakland location were a breeze and parking was super secure and convenient. The new studio space is extremely warm, comfortable, clean, and inviting. We met with Cora, the awesome stylist who is part of Lisa's team. Cora created a natural and beautiful look and made sure hair and clothing were spot on during the photo shoot. We also met Star, Lisa's amazing new 4-legged pup and studio pal. Star's quiet and sweet demeanor added a calming feel to the environment. Lisa is an absolute pro! She focuses on her clients and she brings out the best in people, which shows up in her photos. She is responsive and genuinely cares about her clients, going above and beyond with her communication and follow through. This was my first time getting professional headshots and I felt truly comfortable and had a one of a kind experience! I was lucky enough to meet STAR... as well, her Caribbean rescue and he made the experience that much more memorable and heartwarming. I liked that Lisa asked if I was comfortable with dogs beforehand and additionally having Star in the room helped me relax. Lisa is an incredible photographer and I appreciate her and her team! This was my first time having my photos taken and I could not have dreamed of a better photographer, especially if you’re an actor. Lisa was beyond ex...ceptional and the photos simply speak for themselves. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, she also made time and put in the effort to get to me and what I was interested in as an actor. So not only did I leave with an insane amount of amazing photos, but I left with photos that were going to help me get a step closer to booking my dream roles. I also got to work with Cora who made me look handsome for the first time. I told her I would hire her as my daily make up artist when I make the big bucks and this review will hold me to that! She was also very talented and as someone who has never had their makeup done, she made the process easy and fun. Can’t wait until I need new headshots just so I can shoot with Lisa and hangout with Cora and Star again!! Show more
