She th...ought of every last detail, down to amazing directions on how to get to the studio, having a space to hang clothes/get ready, etc. Arabella did my makeup and I absolutely loved it. I had an incredible experience with Lisa. She has a wonderful set up: I don't wear much makeup but her makeup artist helped me look so natural and bea...utiful--I wish she'd been the artist on my wedding day! I brought about six different tops and Lisa and her makeup artist helped me pick out the best colors/cuts. After the makeup session, I had my photo session with Lisa. She took shots with a few different tops in different locations, and cracked jokes to set me at ease. Then she sent me a LOT of photos to choose from (it was so hard to choose!) and sent me both horizontal and vertical versions of the pic. All in all, she's super communicative, very chill, and has a wonderful approach that helps you feel at ease. And her photos are just gorgeous--I loved them all! Getting headshots can be a bit uncomfortable and vulnerable, so you want to work with someone who has a great personality. Don't hesitate to hire with Lisa--she's a total pro and a lovely human too! Lisa Keating is an amazing photographer. First of all, her place is easy to get to, and there's a parking spot for you, so no stress about parking/ti...ming, etc. The vibe in her studio is so relaxed and her makeup artist, Cora Alvillar, is so gifted and also has a relaxed/chill vibe. I felt comfortable from beginning to end, and didn't feel like there was any wasted shots, because I felt so relaxed and myself, so I could tell that most of the shots would be usable, and that there'd be a lot to choose from. This was my second headshot session with Lisa.  Simply put, Lisa is a great headshot photographer; because, in addition to her command of all the tech...nical photography stuff, Lisa takes the time to learn who I am and what it is that I am trying to communicate with my headshots, and, somehow, Lisa magically captures all that in the headshot photos.  When I reserved the photo session, Lisa called me to learn about my goals for the headshots.  Then, in advance of the session, Lisa and Arabella, the makeup artist, both visited my website, so they could better understand who I am and how to present me.  When I arrived, Lisa made me feel at ease and advised me on wardrobe choices to best communicate with my target viewers.  When I work with Lisa, I feel seen and understood, and, importantly, I feel free to be me.  Under Lisa’s direction, the resulting headshots always truly capture my essence.  In the future, when I need new headshots, I will definitely return to Lisa.
