I booked an appointment where my time was originally 3:30. She asked the day of if I can push it back 30 min and I agreed. On my way there, I forgot m...y hair and had to turn back around. I called her twice and left a voicemail saying I would be running late and she never picked up. Once I got there she left. Per her policy, if I’m running late, I should notify her. I asked her for my deposit back and she agreed I will be able to transfer the FULL amount to the next hairstyle. 2 weeks later, I was going to book another hairstyle and she changed her mind stating I can only transfer $20. At that point I just didn’t want to do the style anymore because that is greedy and lack of professionalism. Why am I only able to transfer half of the deposit when that’s not what we agreed on? Good morning. I apologize for the confusion. But yes I gave you an extra 30 min to get to the appointment and you didn’t call until the exact time of your appointment. My policy states if you’re going to be late you have to notify me to a hour before , so I can adjust my schedule if I have availability. I waited an extra 30 minutes after calling and texting you . I received no reply literally until after 430 and that is way beyond my courtesy time . I went against my policy and told you , you can use the deposit towards another sewin appointment, you clearly didn’t hear that part of the agreement. I would recommend being on time or letting your next stylist know that you will be late . It will cut out all issues . Have a great day

I absolutely had an AMAZING experience at The House of Lace, Chaz took her time and made me feel comfortable. Her salon is clean and smells amazing. I... walked out of her salon feeling like a DIVA first time going blonde and I LOVEDDDD IT! I came to her shop because of my mother we would always travel to New York to get our hair done but once Chaz styled my mom’s hair we knew we no longer had to make those trips again. The quality of her hair is good no shedding. Thank you Chaz for the professionalism me and my mom will be forever clients see you soon! P.s I’m getting a bang next can’t wait lol Show more

We were returning customers from back in 2018 before Chaz was at the house of lace. In 2018, we had to find another service provider; because on two o...ccasions (the morning of my daughter’s senior pictures and the morning of her senior prom) Chaz texted us the morning of the appointment and said she would have to cancel. Both times she did refer us to another stylist, but it was at the last minute. When I made the appointment for my daughter for Sunday 6/16, I never would have imagined that we would have a similar experience. On the morning of the appointment Chaz contacted me to inform me that she needed to reschedule. This wasn’t an option, as my daughter—who the appointment was for—lives out of state and was just visiting for the weekend. This was a very unprofessional way to handle the situation, especially having been burned by Chaz twice before. I know she is a good stylist, but she lacks professionalism. Show more

I’m sorry you feel this way. And I definitely handled it the best way I could . In both occasions which were years apart , I had major family emergencies, in which all deposits were returned and I gave other options as far as stylist and rescheduling dates . I can only do so much . Again I apologie for the inconvenience. I hope you find a great stylist and understand that things do happen .

I had a great experience with Chaz! Her salon wash and treat hair! They cut, color, they do natural hair and everything! I personally got a protective... quick weave with closure because I’ve been wearing sew ins non stop for about 3 to 4 years and my hair is thinning badly from it. I didn’t want the tension from the thread this time. Baby when I tell you Chaz layered and framed this style to my face! The hair just flows differently in layers. It’s like so light and bouncy! I haven’t gotten dolled up yet but when I do the pics is coming! She did a phenomenal job! And her prices! You can’t beat! Pay her! She is definitely amazing at what she does. And she has a beautiful cool, layed back personality with humor. Her salon has, beverages and snacks, tv, music! Her partner seems really sweet as well. Their vibe is amazing! This is my new home.
