Having searched all over the Des Moines area for a barber capable of actually cutting a proper fade, & not just buzz cutting the sides then calling it... good, I stumbled across this place by chance for it's consistent, lengthy list of 5 star online reviews. Those ratings are absolutely deserved, & this is now my go-to barber shop. The prices are very fair/reasonable vs. many of the other shops I called around the area charging absolutely absurd amounts for even the most basic haricuts. The atmosphere is very clean, comfortable, & friendly (unlike the unhygienic practices & hipster attitudes I've encountered elsewhere). Even w/ 4-6 weeks between haircuts, my barber always recognizes me & knows the style of cut I've come in for. They have plentiful booking times/appointments for flexibility in scheduling. Finally, the barbers are extremely talented across all hair types, styles, & braids in addition to facial hair. Unlike any barber I've encountered around Des Moines, they also actually use razors to cut in lines, square up edges, get behind the ears, & trim the neck line; whereas all others have just used clippers which fill back in with hair after only days. I highly reccomend this place, to any considering them & to all of my friends & family. As aforementioned, they are extremely talented & true masters of the craft; while remaining reasonably priced for such outstanding work. Give them a try, & I'm certain they'll become your go-to shop as they are mine. 5 stars everytime & all the time. Show more
