I'm new to the area, and was looking for a barber shop. I made the mistake of making an appointment before going in, and almost walked out. The firs...t thing I noticed was people vaping in the waiting area, which i don't mind, but others may. I also noticed the barbers were on their phones quite often, which seemed distracting. The guy cutting my hair didn't speak any english and needed a translator to do the job. That was honesty the strangest part of the experience. It's nice to have a conversation with the barber and easily explain what I want, but since I don't speak whatever dialect he did, I was out of luck. It was nerve-wracking, not knowing if he really understood what I wanted, and here he is cutting away like he's Edward Scissorshands. It really did seem like there was excessive scissors cutting for what could have been more efficiently done with clippers and some blending. And now that I'm home, I'm noticing this haircut sucks. It's honestly one of the worst I've ever had. When he was done with the haircut, he said it was $30. The website said it was $25 when I scheduled. Was he trying to pull a fast one, or was it just out of date information on the website? Who knows, and I wasn't going to argue over $5. Show more
