I got a tired of going to shops where you get a different barber every time. Chances of getting a decent cut were about one-in-three...and then, if y...ou get a good cut you can't get the same person the next time. So...decided to try Gene at King of Shave. Smart move. Gene has been styling hair for maybe 40 years...and it shows...the guy knows his stuff inside and out. He also has that great 6th sense about what you want. As he finished my first cut I just touched my sideburn while looking in the mirror...from that little gesture he knew what had to change. He redid the whole thing and got it just right. Then (and this was the great relief) I went back a second time and got exactly the same cut. The price is the same...the quality and consistency are infinitely better. Show more

Diego is great. My second cut with him, and he knows what I like and how to work with the "limited resources" that is my hair. I don't live in Philly ...but I travel here enough to make sure he's the only barber cutting my hair. Show more
