Now that all the wedding craziness has calmed down, I can leave a proper review. I found Shawna’s business based on proximity and booked her because o...f her portfolio which speaks for itself! She reached out to me asking me what colors I wanted and I told her my vision. I was having my wedding and we were having a Star Trek theme. I wanted to embody Captain Michael Burnham for her braids. I am Latina Indigenous, native to Puerto Rico and have had braids before, but these have been the best set I’ve ever had. I’m so sad to hear that she will be moving. But I’m happy to have had a chance to had a set of braids done by her. She really brought my vision to life with the colors! She even matched it with my reception dress which was green and gold. 10/10. Thank you so much!
