      This loc detox naturally breaks down the buildup that has made its way inside the locs. I will submerge the locs in an apple cider mixture for a period of 20-40 minutes depending on the severity of the buildup. Locs will be individually squeezed and rolled to remove buildup. Afterwards, I will double shampoo the locs and condition them. If no other service is scheduled (retwist, style, etc.) the scalp will be oiled and client placed under the dryer to set.

      During this relaxing service, a hot towel will be applied to face to relax and soothe the skin. A series of exfoliating cream, cleanser, toner, and moisturizer will be massaged on the face with a hot towel in between each step. You may also choose to have a mask to nose for blackheads if needed. The service will end with your choice of hot towel or cold towel (closes pores).

I was looking to find a skilled Loctician. I had some loc extensions hanging on for dear life and a few more threatening to jump ship; all self inflic...ted wounds caused by my own doing. I strongly wanted a same day appointment. Sounds impossible right. So many locticians are unwilling or unable to accommodate same day services for non-clients. Or they won’t take an appointment that they can’t make $80 dollars or more off of. Not only did Diamond give me an appointment, she was not interested in hiking up her charges. She saw me as a person in need of help. She didn’t judge me or my hair and that says a lot about who she is. I’m grateful to have found her salon. Her shop is in a beautiful, peaceful location. The layout is brilliant with stations for shampooing and conditioning, coloring, drying hair etc. She offers many loc services for all my future needs. I am sincerely looking forward to booking with her in the future. Show more
