This is how the back of my head looked…I took this pic 3 days after my appointment. I would think a hairstylist should make sure her client’s hair loo...ks good before sending her out the door! I can’t see the back of my own head…There are huge gaps where more braids could have went but she sent me home with two packs of hair that could have been used. I was very disappointed. This looks crazy. Show more

I am GOBSMACKED at how great Imani did, she did her THANG. if you’re TENDER HEADED, go ahead and book her because the way it’s been less th...an 24hrs after post retwist and I haven’t popped one ibuprofen, has me ELATED. She keeps a very warm, comfortable, welcoming and most importantly CLEAN environment. Giving you an authentic, salon/barbershop feel. Lastly, if you’re as lost as I was (am) about Loc maintenance, Imani is your girl. She went into detail about MY hair, not anyone else’s, and suggested what’d work best for me. She even offers her own oils, which she hand makes, so no worries with any added ingredients or unanswerable question about what you’re putting in your hair. If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m not usually the person who does reviews so let me just get to the point; Imani is gifted when it comes to loc/hair care! She is very knowledgeable... and it shows in the way she cares for my hair. I’m 2 years into my loc journey (she did not start my locs) and let’s just say it has been quite the journey……I expressed to her that my parts weren’t to my liking; she fixed them! I wanted color, a golden platinum blonde 🫣; let’s just say that she exceeded my expectations; I get soooo many compliments on my color. More recently, I damaged some of my locs 🤦🏾‍♀️ and was ready to cut them out and start from scratch but this miracle worker repaired my locs, revived them with a deep conditioning treatment, and used her handmade Growth and Scalp oil. And just like that, I’m in love with my locs all over again 🥰 I made sure to purchase her Growth and Scalp Oil as well as her Rose Water Hydrating Mist for home use in between visits.
