I'm writing this review for my bf. He's too nice to tell Mary how he actually felt about his haircut and he left a tip that didn't match the actual cu...t. Firstly, she was late to the appointment. We were sitting in the parking lot and saw her leaving right before his appointment. She communicated that she'd be late but was still later than the time she said she'd be. Now, my bf had waist length hair. Hasn't had a hair cut in 6-7 years. He finally came to the decision to cut some inches, get a nice low taper fade, thin out his thick hair, trim his facial hair and line up his brows. I will say, the actual haircut was nice. The lenghth was great, the thickness was perfect. But she didn't properly fade him. Tried to suggest that his hair was too dark or that his sleep pattern was the cause for the improper fade. She tried to line up his eyebrows with clippers and nicked his left eye. Obviously, we weren't happy with that but she didn't even actually line up his brows. She also tried to clean up his facial hair and did not to a good job. It was a spotty job. We assumed that the hair had been shaved and left there due to her not properly cleaning him up before we left. We got home, he washed his face and the hair was still attached. She actually butchered his line up. Plus, it was the same thing like with the beard. Not actually shaving off the hair she was supposed to. Now, mind you he hasn't had a haircut in SIX YEARS. This is the time to showcase your skills. When we decided to find him a barber, he suggested Mary because she has great reviews. A great portfolio. And he wanted to make sure that his hair length and thickness would be properly tackled. We could tell it was a rushed job. She kept checking her watch and was on the phone making plans for after his cut. The other barbers straight lied when they told him that it looked good. The only other barber that seemed concerned about his haircut was the older gentleman that worked next to Mary. Though, no one actually said the truth which it she didn't do a good job. Luckily, we were able to find another barber the same day to correct her mistakes. People with untextured hair may want to reconsider booking with her. Show more

Hello, thank you for your feed back! I asked him multiple times was the length good before I CUT it. I also asked him before he got out the chair was everything okay and he said YES. My advice going forward would be to explain to the barber your concerns before you get out of his or her chair. Wish you the best going forward ❤️
