If I could give a minus one rating, I would. I was a new client. I was looking forward to her services. She is definitely a master of her skill. ... Breilei approached us in a restaurant a few doors down from her shop. She had availability the very next day. After reviewing her portfolio, we took the appointment eagerly. But Breilei was rude, unprofessional, dishonest, and lacking customer service skills. Maybe she is already independently wealthy, and doesn’t need to grow her business, because she does NOT value new clients. I am/would have been a good client. I actively support minority-owned businesses. I tip very well, especially minority entrepreneurs. I’m consistent. My daughters get their hair braided faithfully every two months. I highly value anyone who provides a service, even Breilei. But Breilei was 3 hours late starting my daughter’s appointment. While waiting, I asked Breilei multiple times when she would be ready. She lied. Each. And. Every. Time. She did not fully explain her services or expectations. We didn’t know that shampooing is included in her price. So my daughter washed her own hair. Breilei made my daughter feel very uncomfortable. After terrible customer service, Breilei wanted to charge an extra $50 because she said my daughter’s hair was tangled. That was my breaking point. We left without a single braid. Good life lesson for my 13yo (I was ready to leave at the one hour mark, but she didn’t want to leave ), but also one of her worst experiences. Mine, too.

Here’s the thing..it’s back to school time and I’m extremely busy. It’s just me working and you were a squeeze in because you requested a last minute appointment which was fine with me but I’m not to be rushed. You interrupted me with my client multiple times. I explained to you my process I wash condition detangle at the start of the appointment set under the dryer and once I finish I'm right to the next. I braid extremely fast so once she got in my chair I would be done fairly quick. Your daughter told me she's already washed and detangled which is why you guys were in the lobby. Once she got to my chair her hair was extremely dirty, matted and tangled plus the braids were not fully taken out!!! Instead of rushing me and complaining you could have been in the lobby taking her hair down! Every single time I offer a special to the public I run into things like this! You cannot come into my place of business be rude and ask me to wave a fee for a added service thats going to put me even further behind schedule when you’re already getting a discounted service! That was a terrible experience for me as well. Learn to treat people with respect!

The appointment started ok, the issue came in when she put me under the dryer the second time. The first time was for a deep condition the second time... must’ve just been for a distraction because she wasn’t done with the previous clients hair yet. I was getting half tribal braids half knotless. I got from under the dryer and she immediately started braiding my hair. She did not put any detangler, moisturizer, leave-in or anything on my hair, she didn’t detangle my hair, nor did she blow my hair out. I am tender headed plus my hair is still healing from damage. So combing thru dry tangled hair with edge control was torture for me. From my experience, braiding isn’t as painful when your hair is already stretched because they don’t have to pull as hard trying to get all the curls in the braid neatly.

Good evening you were put under the dryer the first time for the deep condition. The second time you were put under the dryer was to dry your hair...your hair is severely damaged so I did not want apply direct heat using the blow dryer. I'm sorry it was complete torture for you but I had no idea. How would i have known? Just like I tell everyone you are paying your hard earned money if your dissatisfied, have questions, comments or concerns speak up! Typically new clients are required to call/text me before appointments so that I can do a virtual consultation and I can see the texture, length, and the condition the hair is in so that I am prepared for that appointment! I have no idea how that part was skipped but I was not prepared for your appointment or the condition of your hair so I used the same products I use on everyone else! My suggestion is start a healthy hair journey and cut your hair! Especially the blonde, get it cut evenly and keep it braided until you reach your desired length! Thats when you’ll keep up with your deep conditions and trims and you will see growth and thickness. Thank you for your feedback

I made an appt for my mom to come here and get braids for our cruise. She wanted shoulder length knotless braids. I spoke with Breilei prior to the ap...pt to confirm some information, she got back quickly and kept in contact and addressed all my questions and gave good advice. My Mom’s hair turned out great. We previously sent a photo from tiktok what my mom wanted and it came out the same! The place was nice, she was extremely friendly, talkative and fast. She felt she was efficient and her braiding didn’t hurt her, which is what we were worried about. My mom said she was informative and enjoyed her session. It took less than 3 hrs and we are extremely appreciative.
