    • Consultation

      This service can be done over the phone. If it is a color I am going to ask that you come in so we can get the allergy test and consultation done at the same time. I always like to talk to my new clients about their hair type, what chemicals you have been using, hair length, is it dry/thick/thin? I take these notes to put in your new client file, and then we revisit this conversation again after your fourth or fifth service to see if any of your hair characteristics have changed. After the first consultation it is free of charge.

    • Allergy Test

      This one is a little different than the strand test. These test are done for client who have NEVER had color before. You come in the day before your service and I mix some color, and place it on the inside of your wrist. When you come in for your service the next day, if there is any irritation or redness. Itching or swelling I will not be able to do your service because of allergies. This one is very important and necessary for both you and I.

    • Strand Test (Color)

      If you want color, I require that you come in 20 min early so we can do this extra precautionary step. We would grab a piece of your hair in the back behind your ear, and apply the color/bleach. This ensures that your hair will take the color along with any allergies that might occur on the scalp. Especially if you have never had a color done or we are using a color you are unfamiliar with. I also do the strand test for other reasons that only stylist understand. Lol

She definitely gave my son some crispy braids. She washed, blow dried and moisturized my baby’s hair. I loved that because most people want you to com...e already washed and blown out. It’s at her house, so be prepared for that, but who doesn’t know the stylist doing hair out of their house work the hardest! We will definitely be back in two weeks to freshen up these braids.

I'm trying to keep it professional on this review and keep it short and sweet. Couple mishapps happen but the main thing was my hair didn't even last ...a week and the parts and size where 3 different sizes. Hair started falling out not even 24hours after the style. Don't know what the price listed $160 is for but for a s-medium(closer to medium large) size I had to pay $240 an up charge because they where smaller even though I wanted half the hair. Update, the schedule said you worked so put it up with boosy or fix it yourself. I have a screenshot if needed. Also you cancelled on me first which I was still willing to come. And you only told me the hair was wrong when I was already gettimg it done you could have easly suggested another syle, I was 100% open to it which I did mentioning. I wasn't willing to go back home and buy some more hair and drive another 3 hours. You said tell the whole story I did, I can tell the full drama if thats what you mean. And you said I rushed you because I didn't expect for this bad hair do to take 10hours, I thought asking if it was going to be done in 7 hours was very reasonable and if that's rushing then start make a bigger time slot, because it's never taken anyone that long to do a simple hair style like that.

For starters, you came on a day that I don't work, which it states In my policy that I charge 80$ extra for days I don't work. You also cancelled the same day and rescheduled to yet again another day that I wasn't scheduled to work. Secondly, Using the wrong type of hair for Senegalese twists can lead to a less desirable or shorter-lasting style. While Kanekalon hair is the most common choice, using kinkier textures like Marley hair can result in more friction and longer-lasting twists. Incorrect hair can cause unraveling, slippage, or a less neat appearance. Additionally, the wrong hair type might not blend well with your natural hair or create a desired look. You can see in the photos you provided that the hair is not Kanekalon or any kinkier texture at all. I also kept the hair you brought because I knew you were going to make this review without properly informing everyone that you did not come with the proper hair for twists. My lesson has definitely been learned. If you don’t have the proper hair to do the style, I won’t be providing it. Even after I insisted that you needed a different hair texture, you still stated you wanted me to do the style. Let’s also not forget that the reason your parts may have been bigger is because you made me feel completely rushed. Telling me that you had somewhere to be after your appointment, knowing that braids and adding extensions take longer. Like we already discussed, make sure that you tell the whole story. Not half of it 👋🏽💯

The worst!!! She barely had shampoo,and it was a Walmart brand, Cream of Nature she mixed with DE almond at the same time. The conditioner was also Cr...eam of Nature. She didn't shampoo my hair or massge my scalp to cleanse it. I paid the deposit and the service wasnt worth my $82. She use booksy to get ppl money. She tried to get my money $182 for a very very bad experience. Never ever again

Crystal, I don’t understand why you would make such a bad review when you never expressed any of this to me in the salon. Also I buy all/ most of my products from Salon Centric. I have never even entered Walmart to purchase any products that I use at my salon. That is your personal opinion. We also gave you a 30 min steam process and gave you another rinse and scalp massage. You and your husband then went next door and tried to fight the dollar general staff and then ran back into my store. Not informing me of anything. You received a well needed trim and I took time silk pressing and styling your hair. You then rushed me and did not give me time to properly style your hair. Now I know the reason why I was rushed. The security in our area has trespassed you from the area because of your violent behavior. You did not even want to pay dollar general their money. I do appreciate your feedback nonetheless, and will be sure to be more punctual and persistent with my future clients.
