My daughter had a pretty disappointing experience getting her set of acrylic nails done earlier this week. She asked her tech to shorten the length of... her nails 2-3 times throughout her appointment. He kept telling her he'd get to it later but never did. It was difficult for her to tell if he could understand her, but she didn't have any other ideas for how to communicate her request to him. She also requested the chrome top coat option and was charged $20 extra for it! Another friend asked for the very same thing the next day and was only charged $8 extra. All in all it was super discouraging for a teenager to end up paying $90 for a set of nails that she doesn't love because they're way too long. :( Show more

The salon is very nice, with comfy chairs etc…the pedicure was good, however my feet did not soak long, the skin around the toenail wasn’t cleaned up ...nor were the cuticals trimmed like traditional pedis. Also, the English was sparse with no chatting nor could they understand my polish or other requests. Show more

I made appointments for my daughter and I at 5:30 pm for a fill. The appointments should have taken 45 minutes to an hour. We were there for 2.5 hou...rs. There was only 1 nail tech (out of 3) that seemed like he knew what he was doing. The polish I chose was dirty - literally full of granules of who knows what (dirt, dust), my nails were lumpy. I asked the nail tech to remove that polish and she was obviously annoyed and rude to me. I had to monitor my daughters nails the entire time. The acrylic was lumpy and the nail shape was the OPPOSITE of what she asked for (he gave her duck nails when she asked for almond nails). When I paid for our appointments, they grossly overcharged for their services. I am a local, and I will be telling everyone I know to not waste their time or money at this salon. Show more

I was less than impressed with Chic Nail Salon in Bigfork. I had been to the salon when it was still D'Lux Nails (recently) and had nothing but great ...experiences. I booked pedicure appointments for myself, my MIL and my daughter before vacay. We arrived 15 minutes early, so we sat and waited (totally fine) until the techs were done with other customers. They finally came and turned water on at our stations and left, without checking water temps-2 of the 3 were cool and 1 tub was so hot my daughter couldn't put her feet in. Salon was obviously overbooked/understaffed and one tech kept leaving our pedi to answer phone/take appts and then tried to come back to pick up where he'd left off. One of the techs kept going to his old station for things and worked on my MIL without sterilized tools-she was worried what she'd be coming home with. Use to, they had a fridge with drinks for customers and this time we weren't even offered water. Our experience left us with a bad taste for being local, and have decided to not return to this salon. We'll take our business elsewhere in the future. Show more

I showed up on time for my 4pm manicure appointment, but ended up leaving without getting my nails done after waiting over 45 minutes to be seen. I ha...d to leave so that I could make it to work on time, I planned my afternoon work break around my nail appointment and could not wait any longer. Not sure if appointments were over booked or if they took too many walk-ins... Have never had a bad experience at this salon, but left incredibly disappointed today as now I have to find another window of time in my busy schedule to squeeze in a second nail appointment. My first time at the salon for a pedicure about 6 months ago was very nice - 4 stars. Second time, less nice - 3 stars. My third time on 6/29/24 was a...wful, zero stars. Why? My toes look terrible first of all. Secondly, I received a basic manicure in my lap while receiving the pedicure. Not my preference, but I went with it. During the manicure I was cut three times and bled at two of the cuts, with those two spots being inflamed & painful for three days after. I also observed the tool being used on my fingers be taken to another client following a simple swipe with a tissue, which caused me some anxiety. I did not see the tool used on this client, though, because I left soon after now feeling anxious about what I had potentially been exposed to. Most importantly to me, however, was that the female technician questioned why I did not leave a tip upon check-out. I wanted to say some things, yet did not want to cause a scene. I am a generous tipper in the community - even when not totally deserved. I was cut three times, my pedicure was mediocre at best, the overall experience sucked, the employee dynamics that morning were tense & unpleasant, AND I was questioned about not giving MORE MONEY!?! They are fortunate I didn't just walk out without paying!!! I absolutely will not return to this Whitefish salon. Show more

I just had the BEST pedicure at D'Lux Nails & Spa in Bigfork, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphe...re was inviting and clean. My feet were pampered and the polish application was flawless. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I am so grateful to have D'Lux Nails & Spa in our small little town.
