As someone visiting a barber for the first time, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but my experience here was more awkward than I had imagined. W...hen John called me up, he didn’t do much in terms of introducing himself, he just asked me a few questions about the kind of haircut I wanted. After that, it was total silence—you could have heard a pin drop. The quiet was especially striking because of the contrast. Just minutes earlier, I watched John talking jovially with another client, so the dramatic shift in energy was hard not to notice. It felt as if I’d broken some kind of unspoken rule and ruined the mood. Despite the strange vibes, though, John's skill is undeniable. With more than 25 years of experience, his precision and attention to detail are evident in his work—sharp lines meet clean fades to create a polished result. At the time of this review, I haven’t visited any other barbers, so I don’t have much in terms of a personal benchmark for comparison. That being said, I plan to explore some other options to get a better sense of what’s out there before deciding which I like the most. Show more
