CONSULTATION

Extremely disappointed, and upset. Went in about a month ago and showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. After explaining my situation, I paid $300... for a BALAYAGE. I came out with streaks (highlights instead) I went back yesterday to fix the base color because I felt like it was too light and the blonde blended in…even though again it was streaks (she did offer to do the root melt and toned it for free) and I asked a bunch of times if the blonde was still going to be there, and she said yes. I come out with the color root melt I wanted, but now even less blonde, as if me not having what I wanted wasn’t upsetting enough. I went to another hair salon today for a consolation, and she agreed that it was nothing like what I had asked for. It was 100% streaks, and not bayalyage (ombré). I’m now going to somehow have to pay another $300 to get what I originally asked for. The hairdressers exact words were “I’d ask for a refund if I was you” and she now has to work with what I have in my hair now. So upsetting, I’m new to the city and explained how nervous I was about getting my hair done for the first time in years. I’d say very sweet lady, thought it was very generous of her to “attempt” to get what I wanted a 2nd time for free, but like I said now I even have less blonde that pops. Editing to add pictures: my hair now (minus a picture of the money peice) vs. inspo pictures that were showed😭 $300 and the whole bottom of my hair isn’t even blonde. When I said I didn’t want bright blonde I meant the most blonde of blonde. Also that I did want to keep some brown. Like pictured exactly in the inspo pictures. Show more

I am so sorry you left this review and more so sorry that you are unhappy with the result. The service was on Jan 30. for a balayage root melt, cut, blow out. Client did not want bright blonde. At the end of service you were very happy with the results. March 4 you came back because you wanted the roots darker. I serviced another root melt, toned, the blonde, and a blowout. I told you there was no fee. I just want you to love your hair. You said you liked your hair and to my surprise, I was taken back by this review. I saw that you mentioned an ombre, which is a totally different technique. I stand by my work and want my clients to truly love their hair as well as their experience at The CUT. You are more than welcome to stop by the Shop at your convenience to discuss other options.
