I was so excited to get my nails done by Cicely as a friend recommended her and I have seen her intricate work and amazing designs on her and online. ...Unfortunately, she did not deliver at all. She was nicking my cuticles every couple fingers causing them to be sore and bleed. Didn’t have any colors that would work with my design even after sending her multiple via text earlier in the week and her saying she has the colors and ability to do the design. The one color that matches the original design, she brings out and it is an empty bottle. Then I pick another color and begin the design and the power goes out. I pick another design that is much much easier - matte nails and shiny curvy lines coming down the nail, EXTREMELY simple. The nails are getting done in the dark so they are barely cured correctly, they’re sticky and the design is inconsistent on every single nail. Then she uses a UV light that needs to be periodically charged and while it is being used, a ROACH comes out and starts climbing on the table. On top of all of that, it was over $200 (which I was prepared to pay for the kind of work I’ve seen her do on my friend) for botched work and a terrible experience. It would’ve been simple to say she can’t confidently do the designs in the dark and ask can I come back for that part another time when she can give me what I’m paying for. It would’ve been courteous to not charge for a design she knows is not up to the standard she advertises and has done for clients in the past when it is clear as day. Very disappointed, especially because these nails were for an event and I was hoping to continue to come to her. Definitely will not be back.
