Update: Anthony, the lack of clear directions is just one issue here. The bigger problem is that you had someone in the chair during my appointment ti...me, and instead of apologizing or informing me beforehand that you’d be running late, you tried to blame me for being late because I couldn’t find the place. The Google Maps address still leads to a different location, and without the salon’s name visible, the room number alone was not helpful. When I got in the chair and you asked how I was doing, I asked if you were talking to me, so it’s not accurate to say I ignored you. You started telling me about other clients being late and how that caused the delay, but by then, it was already too late to make up for the poor communication—you should have actively communicated this beforehand. The comment about the vertical bars being left dark is also misleading—I repeatedly asked for adjustments, stating they were too dark but you didn’t cut them down more, which is why I had to fix them myself at home. Enough gaslighting, you tried both during my visit and now in your response. Original: I arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment but ended up being 4 minutes late because the salon’s location was unclear—there was no name on the site or room number provided. When I finally found the place, I still had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time while the stylist finished with another client. When I mentioned not being happy about the wait , he tried to gaslight me by saying I was late, even though it was due to his poor instructions. The haircut itself was just okay. There wasn’t enough gradient the fade, and the vertical bars were left too dark, which I had to fix myself at home after getting tired of asking for adjustments. The same thing happened to the next customer, who also had to call to figure out where the salon was. It seems like this is done intentionally to new clients, I wouldn’t recommend this salon, especially if you have other commitments afterward. Show more

I’m sorry you feel that way Nia , I had tried to explained to you why I was late due to having multiple appointments show up late prior to yours but instead you ignored me and asked me "are you talking to me?" Also if you check the address on Booksy it says Studio 42 which is our number. Lastly, you specifically asked me to leave the vertical bars as dark as possible which I then proceeded to do. Again I’m sorry you felt this way but I was just doing the cut you asked me for.
