As a masculine-leaning, non-binary person, vibes are huge when choosing a barbershop. I want to feel included at a shop, not tolerated. Emmitt and the... Aziz Crew always make me feel at home. Aziz is a friendly, come as you are, social shop where Emmitt fits perfectly. I care enough about my hair to adhere to an every four weeks schedule and somehow Emmitt cares more. His fades are so good that people with significantly more melanin than me compliment my fade. A rarity among barbers, Emmitt is genuinely seeking feedback when he hands you the mirror. He makes adjustments with a willing hand and zero ego. Emmitt has become my little brother from another (Latina) mother. For the vibes and the awesome haircut, I'll continue making the drive in from Prineville.
