I used to live in Queens and have been going to the same barber for over 15 years. I’ve been in Long Island for 2 1/2 years nowand had some misses an...d had no choice but to commute back and forth to Queens just for a haircut. My wife found this place and after much back and forth discussions, I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, Manny has done at least 4 of my last haircuts and has been on point every single time!!! Everyone says they haven’t seen me look this good since before my Queens barber back in the day . We are all very happy and blessed to find this place!!! Awesome!!!! Thank you Evolution, you are truly the Evolution of barbers in Long Island without a doubt!!!!! Show more

What a party lol! DJ and dancing lol. Fin atmosphere but a great haircut. Mnny knows what he is doing. I have HORROBLE psoriasis and most barbers shy ...away from those areas (which unfortunately is flared up on most of my scalp right now). Manny went right jn, no hesitation! I'll definitely be back! My husband is in a wheelchair suffering from Parkinson’s. While I struggled to push the wheelchair and to hold my three year old granddaughter’s hand..., one of the barbers just stared at me. When I finally got the chair inside, he stared at my husband as if he were from another planet. When I asked for a haircut, he told me I should wait for the next barber who would be there in “two minutes “. Another customer came in and was taken immediately. When I inquired why, I was told he had an appointment. Another barber arrived, he had no customer, but made no attempt to help my husband; just stared. I was told the other barber “ was coming in two minutes “. At this point we left. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Show more

Hi Elizabeth, I am sorry for this experience and wish you and husband well. Although there is no excuse for horrible customer service, we do recommend appointments and try our best to honor the appointments that clients have previously booked. Which was the case here. We service many wheel chair clients and actually have a routine when they call and book where we ask if help is needed coming into the shop, and have a barber waiting with their chair moved out of the way, to accommodate them directly in the barber station. For a quick seamless experience. Thank you for giving us a chance, we do appreciate the opportunity to serve everyone our community.
