Carmen is a great instructor! She is patient, kind and funny. I felt very comfortable with her. She also offers a lot of different courses on her webs...ite from twerking to splits to pole dancing. I've been taking both pole and aerobic trampoline classes here for a few months and it's starting to show! These classes offer an awesome total-body w...orkout that have really helped to add tone and definition! After only a few classes I could tell my upper body strength had vastly improved, something I often struggle with. Plus the pole dance classes are so much fun and always have great jams :) The trampoline aerobics class is a serious sweat session. If you're looking for a great mix of cardio and strength training, this is your class. Also a good option if you have hip or knee issues as the trampoline helps negate the impact. Show more
Came here with some friends with a Groupon for a private pole dancing class- making the appointment was easy and smooth. This studio is located on the... second floor of a Tae Kwon Do studio, you just have to go up the stairs to get to the studio.The session lasted one hour and flew by with how much fun we had! The instructor was very considerate of our abilities and need - for example she would let us practice the routine before she added more moves to the routine. She also made sure she put on the type of music we wanted. We ended the session with the instructor offering to teach us a headstand and taking pictures of us. Definitely a friendly, fun and sexy atmosphere! Show more

I've been attending Femme Body Fitness for the last five years on and off since Carmen's first studio in Guttenberg. I first attended with my friends ...for a ladies' night and decided to continue. Throughout the years I have attended a few other studios in NJ and decided to stick with Femme Body. I've attended her other classes but in the last 3 months, I've been consistent with Pole Fitness and Pilates and Yoga classes. I have never written a review but I felt I needed for this. Pole fitness is like anything else in life, it does not happen overnight. I want to mention I am 35 years old with no type of flexibility. Attending these classes have given me hope on crossing things out my bucket list I never thought I could do, like a headstand. I'm not there yet but thanks to my Pilates and Yoga class I am one step closer after my third try. I am one of those students that always feel that I am not capable of doing the steps or the swings. Carmen always pushes me to my max because she understands how insecure I can feel. If she didn't push me, I'd probably be exactly where it started. I have no discipline with the gym, but with pole fitness, I never have to debate if I want to go or not. I love the fact each girl has her own pole. I've never felt alone here. If I'm stuck Carmen or any of the other instructors always give me individual attention. All the girls help each other, it does not matter if one is a beginner or advanced. This is one of the biggest reasons why I chose Femme Body. Show more
I have been coming here regularly for around one year now, and I can always find a class that will work out every part of my body, make me feel strong...er and keep me motivated. The classes are fun... the instructors are warm and welcoming... this studio is the perfect mix of strength and sexy! Show more
After a few months of poling and taking the Pilates/Yoga classes at Femme Body Fitness, for the first time in my life, I am motivated to stick with a ...fitness program and am starting to see the results and I seriously owe it all to Carmen and her team! When I started taking classes with Carmen I was awkwardly flailing about and falling between pretty much every rep. Even at my worst, I always felt encouraged. Don't get me wrong, she will challenge you but it's really for your own growth and advancement. I could probably go on and on about this place so instead here are the things about Femme Body Fitness that stand out to me the most: - Cleanliness - the studio is always immaculate - Atmosphere - this a big one for me. Carmen and the instructors have created an atmosphere where no matter what level you start, you are welcome. You'll see everything; from women that are so advanced they compete, to women like me that are just starting out on their fitness journey. This allows for an environment where you can feel comfortable in your skin and go at your own pace. It's also fun to see what some of the more advanced polers can do, great motivation! - Safety - When doing some of the more advanced exercises and pole moves, Carmen does great job of breaking them down and helping you get into them to ensure that you do them correctly and injury free. - Class diversity - she offers different types of classes so you never feel bored with your workout and can switch it up. I still have about 3 classes that I want to try. Show more
Honestly, if you're taking a class here I would suggest not taking a class with Carmen. She is very talented but incredibly unpleasant and rude. I wen...t with 2 friends for 2 classes and on both occasions we felt uncomfortable and belittled by her demeanor toward us. The class was fun but not worth feeling that way. This class should be taken with an instructor who wants to empower and encourage the students. Show more
