This was my first sew-in experience in Houston. Booking the service was very easy. The day of my service when the Hairstylist arrived she got lost. I ...explained the image of the brown doors to enter my apartment building, but she thought I was being smart when I told her to disregard the cars in the picture (because the cars change spots in the parking garage) and that the “placement of the doors” is the context. Her defensiveness should’ve been my first sign. Nevertheless, when she arrived, things were cool. I had bought three bundles and lace closure. I do believe now I should have had about five bundles. Since she had to cut the bundles for extension hair. I bought a whole package with bundles and closure included from the beauty supply store. I would elaborate more but the images explain enough. I was shocked she did not cut the extra netting, that made styling my hair in the back a little stressful because it would always look matted in the area where the extra net was loose and hanging. I wasn’t aware she didn’t use black thread throughout the whole sew-in. My best friend had to color the threads with some spray to blend in. And upon taking my hair down the spot where she would ask me if it was too tight, I told her no because I was not in pain, although now, I have a patch of hair that came out at the top of my scalp to the white meat, “discomfort” or not. I’ve learned my lesson. This was a 1 and DONE experience for me. Talking about you could’ve fixed it, you will never touch me again. NEXT! Bless you.

Thank you for your feedback. Upon arrival, I noticed your hair was about ½–1 inch long, while my policy states at least 3–4 inches are required for weave services. I explained this before beginning, but agreed to proceed to accommodate you. You also brought a mesh cap (which I advise against in my policies both online and personally). Also hair quality matters and you purchase three thin beauty supply bundles, which I advised would not create a full look or pleasant look. Throughout the appointment, I asked several times if the braids were too tight or if you were uncomfortable, and each time you said no. I can only rely on the feedback provided in the chair. Had I known of any discomfort, I would have made adjustments immediately. You agreed that you stated you were not feeling any pain. To any clients ... I encourage anyone to contact me directly if issues arise, as I am always willing to resolve concerns. I accept responsibility for stepping outside my policies in this case and will be more firm moving forward. I apologize for any disappointment and appreciate your honesty. This issue would have 100% been resolved had I been contacted. God bless.
