I’m very particular about who I allow to style my hair but I was confident in my decision to book my appointment with Ms. Vivienne. It was my first ti...me using Booksy but between customer reviews and photos of her work I knew she was the perfect person for me. Prior to making my appointment I called and spoke with Ms. Vivienne to confirm I booked the right services but she also asked all the right questions to ensure my needs were met. She is very professional, her salon was clean and the decor was beautiful. She was also very thorough and made sure not a strand of hair was out of place. I was beyond satisfied with the service I received and the outcome of my hair. She was definitely worth the 45 minute drive there and I will be booking her again very soon! Thanks Ms. Vivienne! I made an appointment for a relaxer, which was listed at $80. When I got there, I was told that my relaxer would cost $95 for a "pixie relaxer." I'm n...ot sure what that means, but to me, less hair should cost less money, not more (I came with the short cut). Then, she charged me $20 to trim it. I felt like I had made my car payment for the month not paid for a hair service. She did a good job on the relaxer and color, but I noticed later that she had cut off a lot of my hair on the right side of my head, and it wasn't done well. I guess she thought the sides weren't even, and they weren't. I had an asymmetrical cut. Now, I have a chopped-up mess on the right side, and it's going to take months for it to grow back. Needless to say, I won't be returning. After reading my review, Ms. Amanda called to tell me I misunderstood her service. The relaxer I booked was actually only $75, but because she had to wrap my hair after relaxing it, it cost extra. I have never had a stylist charge me to wrap my hair before drying it, regardless of length, but the thing is, if this is the way she does business, that's fine. I have no arguments with her; she's just not the stylist for me, and I'm not the customer for her. That happens sometimes. It is not to be taken personally. She obviously has plenty of clients who love what she does, and that's great. I'm looking for a stylist whose work I can love as well. Show more

When you came, I explained to you that you booked the wrong service for $75, not $80, you stated in which you wanted, relaxer and pixie style ( relaxer, wrap and small curls) is $95. You started to complain that the stylists before cut your wrong and you want me to correct it. I explained that it would be $20 more for the trim.. when I was finished, you were, please, with the service, I have done your hair since May 26. Today is June 17th.. Please understand that my prices and service are visible on the booking page. PLEASE NOTE. Thank you
